Seven Stages of Man by Sir William Shakespeare

(Let's Review)

If the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players,
They have their exits and entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.

At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.

Then, the whining schoolboy with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school.

And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow.

Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden, and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth.

And then the justice
In fair round belly, with good capon lin'd,
With eyes severe, and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws, and modern instances,
And so he plays his part.

The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose, and pouch on side,
His youthful hose well sav'd, a world too wide,
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again towards childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound.

Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

Suboxone or Methadone..

Alhamdulillah, zaman sekarang nie kalau nak berenti isap pit dah senang.

Kalau dulu takde pilihan lain.

Kalau bekerja..utamakan pemulihan diri dulu lepas tu baru cari kerja.

Siapa Jojajoho...?

Joja ni nama timangan aku masa sekolah menengah dulu.

Pejam celik, sedar2 dah hampir berbelas tahun gak mentekadarah benda alah tu.

Niat nak cuci tangan tu ada tapi maklumlah darah manis lagi masa tu. Setiap kali aku balik kampung, sedara mara tanya bila ko habis belajar, aku dok menipu...lagi tiga tahun, lagi dua tahun, dah nak abis tapi tak pernah abis2.

Berbekalkan semangat waja tu aku pun bekerja siang malam.

Malangnye tak lama. Iman setebal kulit bawang.

Aku pun terpaksa akur demi kebaikan aku sendiri. Sebelum bertolak ke Tampin, aku lepak dulu kat Hotel Pudu, makan free, tempat tidur free...tak yah bayar satu sen pun...

Wallahua'lam.

Happy Belated Mother's Day

Salam,

To all Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve,

H a p p y M o t h e r ' s D a y ,

Mak, Ibu, Mummy, Mama, Ummi, Amma, Mum, Ma, and the list goes on and on. These are some of the phrases people around the world call upon their mother.

Abrahim Lincoln, the liberator and champion of the slaves during the 18th century, once said "I regard no man as poor who has a godly mother", because the heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness.

Earlier than that, Prophet Muhammad, reminds his followers that "paradise is beneath mothers' feet". A bit higher is my personal experience taste-of-paradise.

Roseanne Barr, an actress cum a mother herself spoke "there's a lot more to being a women than being a mother, but there's a hell of a lot more to being a mother than most people suspect." As to simplified, the role of a mother is one of the highest salaried jobs since the payment is pure love and affection.

From the womb till birth, from crawling to walking, and so on so forth, she was there to help me make it through the night because I reckoned my mother's heart is my own and only classroom.

Sometime, somewhere, someplace, along the path, crisis occured, rectified and asked for forgiveness from her. She simply replied, I carried and nurtured you in my tummy for more than nine months. You will always be one of my sons, part of me flesh and blood and therefore I will always, always forgive you eventhough you did nothing wrong.

How can I not do nothing when sick and corroded individual insult my mother !

For an instance, there are some religion and creed that highly appreaciate mothers as a holy thing that they will kiss their mothers' feet due of respect. Imagine, to that extend or maybe they assume there's something under it.

For those who still have a mother, bear in mind that a mother is a mother still, the holiest thing alive as God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers, metaphorically.

Words simply cannot substitute the expression of gratitude to me mother as well as yours.

For the unfortunate lot, respect and love other peoples' mother because in the future your wives and daughters will eventually be a mother, and what goes around shall comes around.

Wallahu a'lam

Happy Belated Mother's Day.

From A Jack To A King To A Jack###

This article is solely of the writer’s view. Upon any resemblance to certain people alive or dead is purely coincidental. No puns intended.

For those who may have entered the labyrinthine hallways of the darker side of the world, they should attest the utmost experienced of being hit rock-bottom. No two people share the same exact thoughts, feelings and experiences, hence made the universe as gaudy as ever.

According to David Goldwich, author of Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road, perception is reality. People see what they want to see and hear what they want to hear. Some people always see the glass as half-full; others see it as half empty. We do not see the world as it is, we see the world according to who we are, savvy??

If I were to subset the latter with the notion of “people judge you by your action and not your intention”, it will be a total disaster because “in the end, it’s not the years in your life that counts, it’s the life in your years.” – Abraham Lincoln

Gandhi once spoke the idea of an eye for an eye will make the whole world blind. Time heals detrimental-repercussions-misact of life in the past but to some people, they just could not forgive and forget. They preferred to forgive but not to forget.

Human are prone to mistakes and mischievous attitude therefore they create an ill wind that blows nobody any good on quite a regular basis.

For example, even though I was pre-warned by the adages of those who live in a glass house should not throw stones as well as don’t cross the bridge until you come to them, I did both of it, and I even burned down the bridge many, many times.

At one time I was trapped between “curiosity kills the cat” or “be-an-idle-minded-so-the-devil-can-start-a-workshop”. Several puns later, became the walking proof for the fool and his money are soon parted.

Then there was a time when I believe, to err is human and to forgive divine, man proposes whereas God disposes, thus I chose the road less traveled. I reckoned to transform myself from a jack to a king but it prolonged to from a jack to a jack-***, pardon me. At the end of the day, failure and destitute greeted me with its grinning smile.

Bygones be bygones, I simplified and proceed through the rise and fall of life, maintained perseverance as he who laughs last, laughs the longest and where there’s a will there’s a way, not where there’s a will, I want to be in it.

I learn to read and read to learn, plan my work and work the plan, do the right thing and right thing to do and so on so forth. However, there are always chains of reaction in the making someplace, sometime, somewhere towards somebody because of procrastination, and procrastination is the thief of time. Personally, I prefer least said and soonest mended because to me, there’s no use crying over spilt milk.

I am lucky to be blessed with friends that uphold the true meaning of ‘a friend in need is a friend indeed’ and along the path of my life there must be some good turns that I deserved another.

Anyway, the final straw has arrived, and the grass seems greener on the other side of the fence and I do hope a stitch in time, does saves nine.

No puns intended.

Wallahu a’lam
